September 4 question – If you could pick one place in the world to sit and write your next story, where would it be and why?
Where? On a cruise ship in the South Pacific, sampling the tasty refreshments and the islands’ entertainment. I did that once. Writing time was wedged in between excursions and “Miller” time beside the pool aboard the Princess.
Why? Like, why not! One word comes to mind – magical. Tropical islands have a power to dissolve fears, worries. Inhibitions are banished. The mood is lifted into a realm of fantasies and endless possibilities. Creativity surges with wild abandonment.
Did I accomplish my goal to write every day and like what I wrote? Yes, absolutely.
…… excuse me, please, while I go check on cruise deals ……

Sounds like there is another cruise in your near future!

If a cruise works for you, that’s awesome! I think the vistas would be inspiring.

Aha! So SIdney and Sam came alive between Miller time and magical island excursions – on a big ol’ boat. That makes total sense. Book that cruise, baby!

Love the picture. When we cruise we never stop long enough going and doing for me to get anything written.
